Tomas Kaiser, PhD of Cultural Sciences, combines and explains the diversity of development, structure and history of Hamburg. He is specialized in urban development and architecture of the 19th, 20th and 21st century at the rivers Alster, Elbe and Bille.

Tomas Kaiser - born in Hamburg - studied Applied Cultural Sciences in Lüneburg and Pavia/Italy (architectural history amongst other things). He accomplished his first apprenticeship as a Shipping Agent at Hapag-Lloyd. After his doctorate in Vienna and Lüneburg he attended a two-year-program at the University of Arts "Muthesius" in Kiel.
